 Trash-Debris on Improved Properties

It is the policy of the Code Enforcement Department to provide assistance services (investigative and enforcement) to the County’s Solid Waste Division, primarily in the abatement of public health nuisances as relating exclusively to trash, debris, refuse, bulky waste, litter, yard waste, abandoned refrigerators and solid waste accumulations on improved properties (lots with dwellings on them – not vacant lots). All other solid waste enforcement problems and violations (open burning, burying-submerging solid waste and hazardous items such as infectious waste, industrial waste, radioactive waste, lead-acid batteries, liquid waste, medical waste, tires and other potentially dangerous items) shall be investigated by the Solid Waste Officer, John Rogers, at 910-253-2524, jorogers@brunsco.net.
