If you would like to use one of our parks for an event or sports engagement you will need to fill out the Special Use Application and submit it to our department. Please find the Special Use Application form below.
Brunswick County Parks and Recreation Park Special Use Application
Update: 7/ 23/2012 5 Brunswick County Picnic Shelters go under new reservation policy on August 1st. The Brunswick Nature Park Pavilion, the Leland Park Shelter #2, the Northwest Park Shelter #2, the Ocean Isle Beach Park Shelter #1, and the Shallotte Park Shelter #3. If you are interested in reserving one of the sites for your next event, after August 1, please contact Tanya Jackson at 910-253-2670 or email her at tjackson@brunsco.net. The fee for reserving the park shelters is $25 for a four hour block.

Brunswick Nature Park
Location: 2601 River Road, Winnabow, NC 28479 (approximately 10 miles outside Leland on HWY 133)

There is 911 acres of wonderful undeveloped wilderness that provides a dynamic mix of vegetation, wildlife, ecosystems, vistas, wetlands, and waterways. It is truly an environmental oasis worthy of exploration. You can enjoy a kayak/canoe launch site, a 40x40 picnic pavilion perfect for a family gathering, and miles of hiking and biking trails.
Park is open year round from dawn until dusk.

Brunswick River Park
Location: 580 River Road, Belville, NC 28451

This park consists of 22 acres overlooking the Brunswick River. There are 3 picnic shelters, viewing dock of the river, 2 playgrounds, and areas for fishing.
Cedar Grove Park
Location: 750 Grove Trail Southwest, Supply, NC 28462

Cedar Grove Park is the newest addition to the Brunswick County Park system. Located convenient to Supply, Shallotte, and Holden Beach, this park offers opportunities to enjoy nature, play, and have fun. The park is located directly behind Cedar Grove Middle School and serves as the schools main area for leisure and sports activities. The park has two tennis courts, multipurpose and/or football field/soccer field, a field house/concession stand and two softball fields, plus a paved walking path. This is the first of it's kind in Brunswick County where two organizations (the school board and the BC Recreation Department) maximize space, land and facilities.
Dutchman Creek Park
Location:4750 Fish Factory Rd. Southport, NC 28465

This park is located on Fish Factory Road in Southport, NC. It has 30 acres of partially developed land offering opportunities for fishing, picnicking, and a playground. There is a restroom facility at this park.
Leland Community Park
Location: 1490 Village Road Northeast, Leland, NC 28451

Leland Community Park is located on Village Road in Northeast Leland. This park's amenities include 2 baseball fields (180 ft. and 200 ft), a practice area, and batting cages. It also has 1 concession stand, a field house, 3 picnic shelters, 1 playground, and two community buildings, plus a paved walking path. This park has a recycling area.

Lockwood Folly District Park
Location: 430 Green Swamp Road, Supply, NC 28462

Lockwood Folly District Park is conveniently located off of Hwy 17 on Green Swamp Road in Supply, NC. Lockwood Folly Parks amenities include 3 baseball/softball fields (2@200ft and 1@300ft). This park has 1 football field/soccer field, 1 concession stand, 1 office/storage building, playground, basketball court, 2 tennis courts, and 3 picnic shelters. This park has 20 acres.
Navassa Park
Location: 800 Park Avenue, Navassa, NC 28451

This park is in the heart of the Town of Navassa. The park has 5 acres with includes 1 baseball field, 1 basketball court, 1 picnic shelter, concession stand, tennis court and 2 playgrounds.
Northwest District Park
Location: 1937 Andrew Jackson Highway, Northeast Leland, NC 28451

Northwest District Park consists of 35 acres featuring 5 baseball/softball fields (2@300ft, 1@250ft, 1@200ft, and 1@150ft). It houses 1 concession stand, 2 basketball courts, 4 tennis courts, 1 playground, 4 picnic shelters, and 8 acres of practice area.

Ocean Isle Beach Park
Location: 6483 Old Georgetown Rd, Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469

Ocean Isle Beach Park is located on Old Georgetown Road just a couple of miles from Ocean Isle and Sunset Beach. The park features 2 playgrounds, eight tennis courts, an amphitheater, restroom facility, picnic shelter and a multipurpose field used for soccer/football.
The Brunswick County Parks and Recreation Ocean Isle Beach Amphitheater is available to rent for your next event. If you are interested in renting the amphitheater please read the Amphitheater Rental Agreement, as well as, you will need to submit a BCPNR Park Special Use Application (please see below).

Shallotte District Park

Shallotte Park is a beautiful shaded park located just outside of Shallotte, NC. The park consists of 64 acres with 4 baseball/softball fields (2@200ft and 2@300ft). It has a soccer field, 2 concession stands with restrooms, 1 office/storage building, 1 basketball court, 2 tennis courts, 3 picnic shelters, a playground, and a dog park.

Smithville District Park
Location: 8340 River Road S.E. Southport, NC 28461

Smithville District Park consists of 23 acres. It has 2 baseball/softball fields (2@300ft). It has 1 football/soccer field (300ft), 1 soccer field, 1 concession stand with restrooms, 1 storage building, 1 basketball court, 2 tennis courts, 2 picnic shelters, and 1 playground.
Town Creek District Park
Location: 6420 Ocean Highway East Winnabow, NC 28479

Town Creek District Park consists of 35 acres with 4 baseball/softball fields (2@200ft and 2@300ft). It has 1 concession stand with restrooms, 1 basketball court, 2 tennis court, shuffleboard and bocce ball, 2 picnic shelters, and 2 playgrounds.
Town Creek District Park is scheduled to receive a well deserved make over in 2013. Check out the new master plan for this park below.

Waccamaw Park

This park has a total of 30 acres with 20 acres currently undeveloped. It has 3 baseball/softball fields (2@200ft and 1@300ft). Other features include 1 concession stand, 1 basketball court, 2 tennis courts, 1 shelter/picnic pavilion, play area with swings/ and 1 community building.
