Medical Facilities

Wilmington VA Outpatient Clinic

There is a Veterans Outpatient Clinic in Wilmington. Similar to a family medical practice, the clinic offers services such as blood work, prescriptions, and prevention treatments. Veterans requiring more extensive services or a specialist's care will need to visit the VA facilities in Fayetteville, Durham, or Salisbury, North Carolina or Charlston, South Carolina for treatment.

A veteran will not be seen at the Wilmington VA Outpatient Clinic unless they first obtain a referral from the VA Medical Center in Fayetteville. The point of contact is the patient benefit desk at the Fayetteville VA Medical Center at 800.771.6106, ext. 5421. The Veterans Service office in Bolivia (phone 910-253-2233) can assist veterans with medical enrollment.
