Engineering is responsible for overseeing all county construction projects. Inspections are made by staff when necessary, and pay requests for the projects are processed through Engineering and forwarded to the Finance department for payment. Plans and specifications for all county construction projects are on file in the Engineering Department and may be viewed by anyone upon request. However, these plans and specifications may not be taken from the department.

County residents who have complaints regarding construction projects (water and sewer lines, subdivisions, buildings) approved by the county may submit these complaints to the Engineering Department. An inspection will be made and a solution provided, if possible.
