Who Program Serves
The Child Health Services program is available to those persons who meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Male or Female
- Birth to 21 years of age
- Brunswick County resident
Services Provided
During the screening exam, a nurse:
- Performs a complete physical exam (check reflexes, temperature, breathing, heart rhythm, weight, etc.)
- Performs vision, hearing, and developmental screenings.
- Orders any necessary laboratory services.
- Checks immunization status and updates vaccines, as needed.
- Provides health education applicable to the child's health.
Any abnormal findings are referred to a doctor.
Clinic Hours
Day: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Friday of each month.
Time: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM
