Who Program Serves
The Immunizations (vaccinations) program is available to those persons who meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Male or Female
- Any age
- Provide immunization record
- Brunswick County residents
Services Provided
During the visit, a nurse:
- Administers the following immunizations (treatment or tests), as needed, to children.
- Diphtheria/Tetanus ("Lockjaw")/Pertussis ("Whooping Cough") [DTP]:
- Haemophilus Influenzae b (major cause of meningitis) [Hib]:
- Polio Vaccine [IPV]:
- Hepatitis B [HepB]:
- Measles/Mumps/Rubella [MMR]:
- Varicella ("Chicken Pox"):
- Pneumococcal (PCV):
- Tuberculosis [TB] skin test:
- Head Lice treatment:
- Flu / Flumist:
- Pneumonia:
- Prevnar:
- Administers the following immunizations, as needed, to adults.
- Tetanus:
- Hepatitis A [HepA]:
- Hepatitis B [HepB]:
- Flu / Flumist:
- Pneumonia:
- Tuberculosis [TB] skin test:
- Meningococcal:
- MMR:
- Provides head lice treatment.
- Performs blood pressure screening.
- Performs cholesterol screening. *
Any abnormal findings are referred to a doctor.

Time: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM for children's immunizations
Time: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM for all other services
Day: 1st Thursday of each month
Time: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM

Vaccination Schedule
For best health, children should receive vaccinations for childhood diseases before they are 2 years old. It is important that they receive booster shots at the appropriate intervals. Below is the recommended vaccination schedule. If you have missed a recommended starting date or booster, consult the Immunizations Clinic for guidance.
