The Laboratory Services program is available to individuals who meet the following eligibility requirements:

1. Adults- Children
2. Brunswick County Health Department clinic patients or private doctor's patient*
3. No residency requirements.

* Lead screening, cholesterol screening, sexually-transmitted disease (STD) testing, or pregnancy testing does not require a referral.

Full laboratory services available.

All findings are referred to the ordering physician, whether clinic doctor or private doctor.

Days: Monday - Thursday of each week

Time: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Days: Every Friday of each month

Time: 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM (outpatients)

Fees are based on patients ability to pay ( sliding fee scale ) for some services.  Some services may be free.

Medicaid, Medicare, BC/BS, CIGNA, United Healthcare, MedCost, Health Choice accepted.
