Concert Shedules will be published in The Brunswick Beacon, State Port Pilot the week of May 2nd in our Brunswick County Program Guide.  Make sure you pick one up so you can make plans for the summer.Brunswick County's free concert and movie series offers family friendly live music, movies,  fellowship, and fun in several Brunswick County locations.  Please check schedules to see dates and times for your area!

Locations are Ocean Isle Beach, Holden Beach, Leland, Shallotte, and Southport, Calabash, and Sunset Beach.

Lucky Leprechaun 5K
Held at the Winds Beach Resort in Ocean Isle Beach
Saturday, March 16, 2013
Registration: 8am Shotgun start: 9am
Participants are encouraged to dress in St. Patrick’s Day apparel (derby hats, beards, etc). Participants can even bring their canine companions. Race proceeds will go to provide scholarships to low income youth and adults for participation in Brunswick County Parks and Recreation Programs.

Registration fees:
Couch to 5k Participants: $15 until February 28
Early Bird: $20 until February 28
On line Registration ends March 13
On site registration: $25
*T-shirts only guaranteed to those who register by February 28, 2013.

Little Princess Ball

The Little Princess Ball is a dance for young girls in kindergarten through fifth grade and their adult male escort. Little girls are encouraged to arrive dressed in a pretty dress, ball gown, or their favorite princess costume.  The evening will consist of music, dancing, crafts, face painting, and much more.   This event is held on or near Valentine's Day! All girls will take home their very own tiara and wand, plus they will get to make crafts to take home.

This event has grown in popularity and has in year's past sold out very quickly keeping many girls from being able to attend. In order to encourage more girls to attend we have added an additional location this year. We are hosting this year's event in two locations!

$10/per person


Southport Location Sold Out as of 2/1/13.  If you pay on line you will automatically be signing up for the South Brunswick Island Center.
