The Engineering Department performs the following duties:

• Project Management for County Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects
• Administer the County Stormwater Program and Stormwater Ordinance
• Calculation of all non-residential water and sewer capital recovery fees
• Plan review and approval for CIP projects and for developer installed infrastructure
• Field construction observation for county projects and developer projects
• Maintain and update the Engineering Design Manual, Technical Specifications, and Standard Details for Water and Sewer Systems
• Engineering Director is the advisor to the County Utility Board
