Welcome to the Tax Administration website. This newly expanded site offers more flexibility with the address search option. In addition, we have added a screen showing payment history of real estate and motor vehicle tax bills, a property record card that can be printed from your own printer, a limited sales comparison report that you may find beneficial, as well as pictures of improved property. The information is updated nightly so what you see today is current with our office from the previous day.

In the years we have offered on-line tax information search, the response has been tremendous. Currently we are averaging over 16,000 visits to our site per month.

Brunswick County has developed a partnership agreement to collect property taxes for eleven additional municipalities. The County has been collecting property taxes for Navassa, St. James, Sandy Creek, and Varnamtown for many years. Starting with 2008 billing, the County will also collect for Belville, Boiling Spring Lakes, Bolivia, Carolina Shores, Leland, Northwest, Shallotte, Sunset Beach, and Village of Bald Head Island.  Starting with 2011 billing, the County will also collect for Caswell Beach and Southport.  Customers in these fifteen municipalities will receive only one bill, and they can pay with just one transaction. In addition to having the payment options of mailing checks, or paying in person at the County Tax Office in Bolivia, customers will be able to pay on-line via credit card (a convenience fee is added).

The towns of Calabash, Holden Beach, Oak Island,  and Ocean Isle Beach will continue to send their own property tax bills. Customers in these towns will have no change in the way they pay their county and city property taxes.
