C&D Landfill and Transfer Station

Brunswick County C&D Landfill hours of operation are Monday through Saturday from 8 am until 4 pm.

Brunswick County property owners and residents may bring items, except for household trash and land clearing debris, to the Landfill in Bolivia free of charge.

Commercial vehicles will be charged normal tipping fees.

Must show proof of Brunswick County property ownership or residency. 

Hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 8 am until 4 pm.

Waste & Clothing Collection

September 20, 2014

The Brunswick County Solid Waste Department will be at Shallotte Middle School, 225 Village Road SW, Shallotte, from 9 am to 2 pm to collect household hazardous waste. Items will be taken free of charge from Brunswick County property owners and residents. Must show proof of Brunswick County property ownership or residency. 

Some items that are accepted at the HHW collection are various paints, stains, insecticides, herbicides, household cleaners, pool chemicals, and aerosol cans.

ILLEGAL DUMPING FINES WILL APPLY!

 

All items brought to the event must be labeled.

The staff onsite reserves the right to refuse any item brought to the event. 

Electronics, latex paints, fluorescent bulbs, automotive fluids, and batteries are not included in the HHW & Clothing Collection. They are recycled year round at the Brunswick County Landfill. There is no charge for this service.

County residents(individuals) can drop off as many as 5 tires at a time. The landfill accepts tires from county businesses with a valid scrap tire certification form.
