General Policies
- General Inclement Weather Policy: When Brunswick County Schools and/or Brunswick County Offices are closed, or severe weather warning are in effect for Brunswick County, structured programs such as classes, meetings, and trips will be cancelled. Please note that inclement weather policies may vary for certain programs. Check each program policy and, if no inclement weather policy is listed, then general policy is used.
- Payment Policy: Brunswick County Parks and Recreation Department accepts cash, checks, and money orders made payable to the department. If a check is returned, a certified letter will send notification. There will be an insufficient funds fee of $25. In addition to the fee, participant will not be registered for a program until cash payment is received.
- Refund Policy: Once payment is received, participant is registered for selected program. If participant must cancel for any reason, refund will be issued if space can be filled. Refund policies for athletic programs vary.
- Advertising Policy: all programs will be advertised in local newspapers and other media outlets; fliers will be available at the Parks and Recreation Department and will be posted on area community bulletin boards. All programs are filled on a first come basis.
