What is Brunswick County Senior Gator Games??
Gator Games is much more than friendly competition in athletics and arts. It is a holistic approach to keeping the body, mind, and spirit fit while enjoying the company of friends, family, spectators, and volunteers. People 55 and older can participate and stay active, renew old skills, learn new ones, and exercise in a positive outlook on life. You can choose from over 80 events to compete in, including golf, bowling, swimming, shuffleboard, table tennis, running, walking, and horseshoes. Brunswick County Senior Gator Games also offers competition in SilverArts, which include all heritage, literary, and performing arts. Games are held each spring. Gator Games medalists travel to Raleigh each fall to compete against winners from 52 other local games held across the state.
