Brunswick County's Special Olympics program gives participants an
opportunity to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage,
experience joy in competition, and participate in the sharing of gifts,
skills, and friendship with their families, other athletes, and the
community, as they train for and participate in the ultimate challenge.
Only athletes who have had at least 8 hours of practice may participate in the Special Olympics tournaments.
