March 6, 2010	County Employee Litter Sweep On Saturday, March 6th from 9 am – 12 pm Brunswick County Employees will be volunteering their services to help cleanup the roadways throughout the County. April 17 - May 1	Spring 2010 Litter Sweep In support of the State of North Carolina and Keep Brunswick County Beautiful we are asking for volunteers throughout Brunswick County to assist in cleaning up the roads and waterways of Brunswick County. April 12 - 17	Free Dump Week at the Brunswick County Landfill Brunswick County Residents may bring items, except for household trash, land clearing debris and new construction debris to the Landfill in Bolivia free of charge. Commercial vehicles will be charged normal tipping fees.
April 17	Household Hazardous Waste Collection The Brunswick County Solid Waste Department will be at Shallotte Middle School in Shallotte from 9 am to 2 pm to collect household hazardous waste. Items will be taken free of charge from Brunswick County Residents.
April 17	Clothing Drive The Brunswick County Solid Waste Department will be at Shallotte Middle School in Shallotte from 9 am to 2 pm collecting clothing. Items will be donated to Brunswick Family Assistance.
April 17	Electronic Recycling The Brunswick County Solid Waste Department will be at Shallotte Middle School in Shallotte from 9 am to 2 pm collecting electrons for recycling. Items will be taken free of charge from Brunswick County Residents.
