September 14th – 19th	Free Dump Week at the Brunswick County Landfill Brunswick County Residents may bring items, except for household trash, land clearing debris and new construction debris to the Landfill in Bolivia free of charge. Commercial vehicles will be charged normal tipping fees.
Saturday, September 19th	Household Hazardous Waste Collection The Brunswick County Solid Waste Department will be at the Wal-Mart in Southport from 9 am to 2 pm to collect household hazardous waste. Items will be taken free of charge to Brunswick County Residents.
Saturday, September 19th	Electronic Recycling The Brunswick County Solid Waste Department will be at the Wal-Mart in Southport from 9 am to 2 pm electronics for recycling. Items will be taken free of charge to Brunswick County Residents.
Saturday, September 19th	Clothing Drive The Brunswick County Solid Waste Department will be at the Wal-Mart in Southport from 9 am to 2 pm collecting clothing. Items will be donated to Brunswick Family Assistance.
