Pursuant to General Statutes of North Carolina, Section 143-129 as amended, sealed bids will be received for the purchase of the following:

Water and Wastewater Treatment Chemicals

Bids will be received until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2016, in office of the Brunswick County Public Utilities Operations Center located at 250 Grey Water Road, Supply, NC, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.

All bids must be in a sealed envelope marked WATER/WASTEWATER CHEMICALS BID. Bids not so marked may not be considered and may be returned to the sender unopened. The bid should also clearly indicate the name and address of the firm submitting the bid.

All bids shall be accompanied by a deposit in cash, cashier’s check, or a certified check on a bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid. In lieu of making the cash deposit as above provided, such bidder may file a bid bond executed by a corporate surety licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute such bonds, all bid bonds, and deposits. The County of Brunswick reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
