NOTICE OF SALE

Under and by virtue of an Order of the District Court of Brunswick County, North Carolina, made and entered in the action entitled “County of Brunswick vs. Christopher M. Ray, et al,” the undersigned commissioner will on the 12th day of January, 2018, offer for sale and sell for cash, to the last and highest bidder at public auction, at the courthouse door in Brunswick County, North Carolina, in Bolivia at 12:00 noon the following described real property, lying and being in the State and County aforesaid, and more particularly described as follows:

Parcel # 142CF032:

BEING all of Lot Number 24, Block M, Section 2, of the plan of Boiling Spring Lakes, a map of which appears of record in Map Book 6 at Page 162, in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Brunswick County, North Carolina.

BEGINNING at the Southwest corner of LOT 25 OF SECTION 2, BLOCK “M” of the plan of Boiling Spring Lakes, a map of which appears of record in Book 6 of Maps at Page 162, of the Brunswick County Registry, thence proceeding North 09 degrees 00 minutes 00 seconds West along the eastern right-of-way of Boiling Springs Road 35 feet to an existing iron stake; thence proceeding North 77 degrees 37 minutes 00 seconds East 157.35 feet to an E.R.B.; thence proceeding South 46 degrees 09 minutes 53 seconds East 29.53 feet to the northeast corner of LOT 24; thence proceeding South 74 degrees 14 minutes 00 seconds West 176.15 feet to the PLACE AND POINT OF BEGINNING. Pursuant to a survey done for Pattie Dew by Tide Water Surveying P.A. on August 23, 2002.

The sale will be made subject to all outstanding city and county taxes and all local improvement assessments against the above-described property not included in the judgment in the above-entitled cause.  A deposit of 5 percent of the successful bid will be required.
