NOTICE OF SALE
Under and by virtue of an Order of the District Court of Brunswick County, North Carolina, made and entered in the action entitled “County of Brunswick vs. Lealon Ward, Shawn L. Ward, et al,” the undersigned commissioner will on the 8th day of December, 2017, offer for sale and sell for cash, to the last and highest bidder at public auction, at the courthouse door in Brunswick County, North Carolina, in Bolivia at 12:00 noon the following described real property, lying and being in the State and County aforesaid, and more particularly described as follows:
Parcel # 232OA002:
BEGINNING at an iron stake on the North side of the Inland Waterway, said iron stake being J. T. Fisher’s Southwest corner of a lot deeded to him by J. E. Fulford; runs thence North 166 feet to a stake; thence West 50 feet to an iron stake; thence South 148.5 feet, more or less, to a stake at the edge of the marsh; thence with the edge of the marsh to the POINT OF BEGINNING containing one (1) house lot, and being the same lands conveyed by Robert L. Robinson, et ux, Etha Mae Robinson, by deed dated September 6, 1962, from M. H. Robinson, unmarried, which said deed is recorded in Book 166, page 211 in the Office of the Register of Deed for Brunswick County.
For chain of title, reference is made to those certain deeds recorded in Book 260, Page 9 and Deed Book 260, Page 71 Brunswick County Registry.

BEGINS at the Northeastern Corner of the Intersection of Bowling Street with First Avenue; thence with Bowling Street North 0˚-15’ West 150 feet; thence North 89˚-45’ East 90 feet; thence South 0˚-15’ East 150 feet to First Avenue; thence with First Avenue South 89˚-45’ West 90 feet to the BEGINNING. Bounded on the South by First Avenue; on the West by Bowling Street; on the North by Lot 1 and half of Lot 2 in Block D; and on the East by the Eastern one-half of Lot 9 in Block D.
The land herein conveyed consists of Lot 10 and the Western one-half of Lot 9 in Block D as shown on the Division Map of the Estate lands of John E. Fulford, deceased, by C. B. Berry, RLS, and dated May 30, 1962. The said map is duly recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds for Brunswick County in Map Book 6 at Page 130, reference to which is made as forming a part of these premises.
The sale will be made subject to all outstanding city and county taxes and all local improvement assessments against the above-described property not included in the judgment in the above-entitled cause. A deposit of 5 percent of the successful bid will be required.
