System Pressure Advisory Rescinded: Portion of Bethel Road

Based on the laboratory analysis of water samples collected on December 3, 2018 from 5798 Bethel Rd to the end of Bethel Rd and adjoining subdivisions in between, Brunswick County Public Utilities water users in this area are hereby notified that it is no longer necessary to boil water or use bottled water for human consumption.  The system has resumed normal operations.

This notice is issued and effective on December 4, 2018.

Brunswick County Curbside Garbage

Brunswick County provides all residents and businesses with once-a-week curbside garbage collection, at no charge. One 96-gallon waste container is provided per address.

Request a New or Replacement Garbage Can

If you would like to request a new or replacement garbage can, email canrequest@brunswickcountync.gov or call the Solid Waste & Recycling Office at 910-253-2520 (888-445-2502) and make sure to include your name, phone number, tax ID or parcel number, address (including City and zip code), and a brief description of your request. If you are requesting a can for a new construction home, you must have the Certificate of Occupancy faxed to 910-253-2539.

Requests for additional cans or repairs of a damaged can should be made by calling Waste Industries at 910-253-4177.

Your 96-gallon container is provided for household garbage only. Additional items may be disposed of at the Landfill or Convenience Centers.
