PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the Brunswick County Board of Commissioners will consider a resolution authorizing the donation of a surplus Grizzly Mosquito Sprayer to the Town of Carolina Shores during the regular meeting on Monday, April 15, 2024. The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the Commissioners’ Chambers on the first floor of the David R. Sandifer Administration Building, located at 30 Government Center Drive in Bolivia (28422).
Brunswick County is authorized to donate personal property to another governmental unit within the United States pursuant to the terms of North Carolina General Statute §160A-280, provided that said personal property has been deemed surplus, obsolete, or unused by the Board of Commissioners. The purpose of said notice is for Brunswick County to declare surplus one (1) Grizzly Mosquito Sprayer and authorize the donation to the Town of Carolina Shores for mosquito control services.
