PUBLIC NOTICE
BOLIVIA, N.C. – With peak Atlantic hurricane season starting mid-August, Brunswick County Emergency Management is encouraging all residents and community members to stay informed by registering for the ReadyBrunswick Emergency Notification System.
Powered by Everbridge, this system allows Brunswick County to contact thousands of residents in seconds so you can find out about an emergency right away. The service will provide you with essential information directly to your device, including updates on severe weather, hazardous conditions, and safety alerts that could impact the area.
It only takes a minute to enroll. Sign up for ReadyBrunswick online or by texting BRUNSWICK to 888777.
The success of this service relies on YOU. Having your latest contact information is the only way to ensure we can contact you in an emergency.
You can further customize your notifications by visiting the ReadyBrunswick online portal. By using the portal, you can select to receive notifications that are tailored to your preferred locations, select your preferred language for emergency alerts, set your quiet hours for most notifications, and more.
