Scheduled Water Outage Advisory RESCINDED – Royster Road (addresses – 10285 to 10557) -Navassa

Based on the findings of the laboratory analysis of water samples collected on 10.13.2025, Brunswick County Public Utilities water users located at:


  • Royster Road (addresses – 10285 to 10557)


in Navassa are hereby notified that it is no longer necessary to boil water or use bottled water for human consumption. The system has resumed normal operation. Customers have been notified by door hangers and ReadyBrunswick.

Due to connection to new water main, Brunswick County water customers on Royster Road, Navassa will be out of service beginning at 8:00 am on 10.13.2025 to allow for the tie in to be made. Service is expected to be restored before 12:00 Noon on 10.13.2025. This outage affects the addresses listed below:

  • Royster Road (addresses – 10285 to 10557)

Consumers will need to store water in containers during this outage, as water service will be temporarily turned off during this time. Please note that multiple fire hydrants will be out of service during this time. Once water has been restored, Brunswick County Public Utilities and the NC Division of Water Resources advise consumers to boil all water or use bottled water for human consumption until further notice. Consumption includes drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation. Vigorous boiling for one (1) minute should kill any disease-causing organisms that may be present in the water.

 

Thirty-one (31) residential and commercial connections will be affected. Customers have been notified by door hangers and ReadyBrunswick. Brunswick County will provide additional information when this advisory is lifted.
