Brunswick County’s early voting period for the 2025 Municipal Election will begin on Thursday, October 16, and run through Saturday, November 1.

Brunswick County Cooperative Extension – 25 Referendum Drive NE, Building N, Bolivia, NC 28422
Schedule:
Early voting will be open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The site will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays except for the final day of early voting, Saturday, November 1, when hours will be 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

View Your Sample Ballot:
Registered voters can view and mark their sample ballot before heading to the polls. To access your ballot, enter your information in the Voter Search tool and navigate to the “Your Sample Ballot” section.
Voters are encouraged to bring their marked sample ballot with them when voting.
Please note:
- Not all voters in Brunswick County are eligible to vote in municipal elections.
- The “city” listed in your mailing address is for postal and 911 purposes only and does not necessarily mean you live within a town’s limits.
- Only voters who reside inside municipal boundaries will receive a ballot that includes municipal contests.
- When checking your voter record, you will either see a sample ballot (PDF) or a message stating “No eligible ballots.”
Photo ID:
All voters will be asked to show photo identification when checking in to vote.
Same-Day Registration:
Same-day registration will be available for individuals who meet residency requirements. Proof of residency will be required.
