A recount has been requested by Mike Crosbie, candidate for City of Southport Alderman Ward 1, and by Ernie Siriani, candidate for City of Boiling Spring Lakes Commissioner.
The Brunswick County Board of Elections will hold its Canvass meeting at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Brunswick County Board of Elections Office, 75 Stamp Act Drive NE, Building H, Bolivia, NC. (Please note: this is a change in location from the Commissioners’ Chambers.)
The recounts for both contests are scheduled to begin Friday, November 14, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., or immediately following completion of canvass, at the same location.
Members of the public may attend in person; however, space is limited. Both the canvass meeting and the recounts will be livestreamed via Zoom for public viewing.
