BOLIVIA, N.C. – Community members are invited to attend the upcoming Wellhead Protection Performance Standards Community Meeting with Brunswick County’s Planning and Public Utilities departments on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
At this meeting, proposed performance standards for the Wellhead Protection Zoning Overlay District will be presented, followed by a question-and-answer session. The presentation will begin at 6 p.m. in Room A of the St. James Community Center (4136 Southport-Supply Road).
Following the community meeting, the proposed standards will be incorporated into a text amendment to the Brunswick County Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), which will be considered by the Planning Board and Board of Commissioners at a later date.
