GFL Environmental has provided the following update concerning trash and recycling cart recovery for residents who missed their regularly scheduled services Thursday, Jan. 23 and Friday, Jan. 24 due to winter weather conditions. Those with questions about their cart collections should contact GFL Environmental at 910.253.4177.
Trash recovery for last week’s storm closures on Thursday, January 23, and Friday, January 24 will be on the regular service days: Thursday, January 30, and Friday, January 31. Extra bagged household trash will be accepted.
Recycling recovery for last week’s storm closures on Thursday, January 23, and Friday, January 24 will be on the next regular recycling service days, Thursday, February 6, and Friday, February 7, respectively. Extra recyclable goods that do not fit in the cart may be placed beside it in a cardboard box or paper bag. Plastic bags of recyclable goods will NOT be accepted.
