Based on the findings of the laboratory analysis of water samples collected on 10.01.2025, Brunswick County Public Utilities water users located at:
- Sabbath Home Road SW (addresses – 806 to 924)
- Destiny Catilyn Avenue SW (addresses – 2705 to 2749)
- Sparta Loop SW (addresses - 2768 & 2772)
in Supply, are hereby notified that it is no longer necessary to boil water or use bottled water for human consumption. The system has resumed normal operation. Customers have been notified by door hangers. We appreciate your cooperation and patience during this period. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

10.01.2025 - System Pressure Advisory – Destiny Catilyn Ave. SW & Sabbath Home Rd. SW, Sparta Loop SW, Supply

The water consumers of Brunswick County Public Utilities along Destiny Catilyn Ave SW & Sabbath Home Rd. SW, Sparta Loop SW in Supply located at:
- Sabbath Home Road SW (addresses – 806 to 924)
- Destiny Catilyn Avenue SW (addresses – 2705 to 2749)
- Sparta Loop SW (addresses - 2768 & 2772)
are experiencing periods of low water pressure and outages caused by a water main break. Periods of low or no pressure in the distribution system increase the potential for back-siphonage and introduction of bacteria into the water system.
Until further notice, Brunswick County Public Utilities and the NC Division of Water Resources advise consumers to boil all water or use bottled water for human consumption. Consumption includes drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation. Vigorous boiling for one (1) minute should kill any disease-causing organisms that may be present in the water.
Approximately twenty (20) connections have been affected. Affected customers will be notified by door hangers and ReadyBrunswick. These are residential, commercial, including a Fire Station connection.
This advisory will remain in effect until further written notification is issued. Brunswick County will provide additional information when this advisory is lifted.
