A recount has been requested by candidate Mike Crosbie for the City of Southport Alderman Ward 1 contest.
The recount is scheduled to begin Friday, November 14, 2025, at 11:30 a.m., or immediately following completion of canvass.
Please note that the canvass meeting location has changed. The Brunswick County Board of Elections will now hold its canvass meeting at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November
14, 2025, at the Brunswick County Board of Elections office, 75 Stamp Act Drive NE, Building H, Bolivia, NC.
The recount for theSouthport Alderman Ward 1 contest will be conducted at the same location following canvass.
Members of the public may attend in person; however, space is limited. Both the canvass meeting and the recount will be livestreamed via Zoom for public viewing.
