The Wilmington Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (WMPO) is continuing Round II of community engagement for its Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) Safety Action Plan, focused on gathering public feedback on draft safety project locations through February. Due to recent winter weather that impacted travel and operations, several in-person engagement events have been rescheduled.
Updated event details, along with project materials, the online survey, and the interactive project map, are available at www.wmpo.org/safetyactionplan. Upcoming and rescheduled in-person engagement opportunities include:
- (Rescheduled) Cupid’s Court – February 7, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM at Hampstead Kiwanis Park
- (Rescheduled) Line Dancing – February 9, 6:00–8:00 PM at Navassa Community Center
- Northside Community Dinner – February 12, 6:00–8:00 PM at DREAMS of Wilmington
- (Tentatively Rescheduled) WMPO SS4A Open House – February 17, 5:00–7:00 PM at Skyline Center
