The Brunswick County Board of Commissioners has shared the following statement in light of the passing of Brunswick County Board of Education Member David Robinson:
"The Brunswick County Board of Commissioners are saddened to hear about the passing of Board of Education Member David Robinson. We extend our deepest condolences, prayers, and thoughts to Mr. Robinson’s family, friends, and colleagues at Brunswick County Schools and throughout our community during this difficult time.
"Mr. Robinson was a dedicated public servant and a strong advocate for public safety and education. Throughout his many years of service to the county, he served as a 9-1-1 telecommunicator, a paramedic, a firefighter, and a member of the Brunswick County Board of Education, among many other roles and contributions. His service will forever have a lasting impact on the future of Brunswick County, and may his life inspire us all to serve our community with as much heart and passion."
