Flu shots at Brunswick County Schools set for October 2023
We are pleased to announce Brunswick County Health Services in conjunction with Brunswick County Schools will be offering in-school flu shots during the month of October. Flu vaccination is recommended for everyone age 6 months and older. The goal of this immunization initiative is to reduce illness and absences from flu. This opportunity is available to students who have not already received a flu shot. Vaccines will be administered by Health Services nurses to students who have signed permission forms. The parent/legal guardian must sign the permission form for the child to receive the flu vaccine. Below are the schedules and required forms you can print out and give to your child’s school.
Nos complace anunciar que los Servicios de Salud del Condado de Brunswick junto con las escuelas del Condado de Brunswick ofrecerán vacunas contra la gripe en la escuela durante el mes de octubre. Se recomienda la vacunación contra la gripe para todas las personas mayores de 6 meses. La meta de esta iniciativa de vacunaciones es reducir enfermedades y ausencias por causa de gripe. Esta oportunidad está disponible para los estudiantes que aún no han recibido la vacuna contra la gripe. Las vacunas serán administradas por enfermeras de Servicios de Salud a los estudiantes que tengan firmado el formulario del permiso parental. El padre/tutor legal tiene que firmar el formulario de permiso para que el niño/a reciba la vacuna contra la gripe.
