Trillium Health Resources is a local governmental agency that manages mental health, substance use and intellectual/developmental disability services in 24 counties in eastern North Carolina. The Governing Board collaboratively plans, budgets, implements and monitors services through policy-making actions.

Mission

To promote the health, safety, rural agricultural values, and general welfare of the county, and more specifically, increase identity and pride in the agricultural community and its way of life; encourage the economic and financial health of farming; increase protection from undesirable, non-farm development; and increase the protection of farms from nuisance suits and other negative impacts on properly managed farms.

Mission

The Zoning Board of Adjustments is a quasi-judicial body that hears and takes final action on variances, Special Exception Permits, zoning vested rights, approval of administrative decisions, approval of wireless telecommunication facilities, and interpretation of zoning boundary lines in concert with the Planning Director or Planning Director’s designee.
