Speak at a Commissioners’ Meeting

If you wish to request that an item be placed on the agenda, please submit your written request to the Clerk’s Office by mail to PO Box 249, Bolivia, NC 28422 or by fax to 910-253-2004. Your request must be received at least eight working days before the scheduled meeting (see upcoming meeting dates). In your request, you must state the purpose of your presentation or the nature of the issue that you wish to bring forth for discussion.

Please note: You do not need to be on the agenda to voice your opinion about a topic that is before the Commissioners. Each Commissioners’ regular meetings has a public comment period, during which anyone can address the Commissioners with questions or concerns about county business. You simply sign up before the meeting at the sheet next to the agendas, near the entrance to the meeting room. Please note that the Public Comment Policy applies.
