Brunswick County declares state of emergency

BOLIVIA, N.C. – Brunswick County Board of Commissioners have declared a state of emergency effective 7 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3 to prepare for the potential threats Hurricane Dorian poses to the county and to continue preparations with state and other partners. If evacuation and other measures become appropriate, this proclamation will be amended.
