Notice is hereby given that the Brunswick County Planning Board will hold a public hearing on October 11, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Chambers of the David R. Sandifer Administration Building located at 30 Government Center Drive at the Brunswick County Government Center concerning the following rezoning:

  

REQUEST:             CHANGE OF ZONING – ZONING CASE Z-825

 

FROM:                    RR (RURAL LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL)

 

TO:                         SBR-6000 (HIGH DENSITY SITE BUILT RESIDENTIAL)

 

LOCATION:           LOCATED BESIDE 9617 NO. 5 SCHOOL ROAD NW (SR 1305) NEAR CALABASH, NC.

 

TAX PARCEL(S):   20900024

 

DESCRIPTION:      THE APPLICANT REQUESTED TAX PARCEL 20900024 BE ZONED SBR-6000 (HIGH DENSITY SITE BUILT RESIDENTIAL).  THE ENTIRE ZONING AREA ENCOMPASSES APPROX. 177.72 ACRES.

 

PROPOSED LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENT (LUM-825) FOR REZONING CASE Z-825:

Request to amend the Official Brunswick County CAMA Land Use Plan Map from LDR (Low Density Residential) to MDR (Medium Density Residential) for Tax Parcel 20900024 located

beside 9617 No. 5 School Road NW (SR 1305) near Calabash, NC.  This Land Use Plan Amendment totals approximately 177.72 acres.
