Notice is hereby given that the Brunswick County Planning Board will hold a public hearing on February 14, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Chambers of the David R. Sandifer Administration Building located at 30 Government Center Drive at the Brunswick County Government Center concerning the following rezoning:

 

REQUEST:             CHANGE OF ZONING – ZONING CASE Z-832

 

FROM:                    RR (RURAL LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL)

 

TO:                         SBR-6000 (HIGH DENSITY SITE BUILT RESIDENTIAL)

 

LOCATION:           OFF MALMO LOOP ROAD NE (SR 1417), SOUTH OF ANDREW JACKSON HWY NE (US 74/76) NEAR LELAND, NC.

 

TAX PARCEL(S):   0280000106

 

DESCRIPTION:      THE APPLICANT REQUESTED TAX PARCEL 0280000106 BE ZONED SBR-6000 (HIGH DENSITY SITE BUILT RESIDENTIAL).  THE ENTIRE ZONING AREA ENCOMPASSES APPROX. 685.23 ACRES.

 

PROPOSED LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENT (LUM-832) FOR REZONING CASE Z-832:

Request to amend the Official Brunswick County CAMA Land Use Plan Map from LDR (Low Density Residential) to MDR (Medium Density Residential) for Tax Parcel 0280000106 located

off Malmo Loop Road NE (SR 1417) south of US  74/76 near Leland, NC.  This Land Use Plan Amendment totals approximately 685.23 acres.
