Notice is hereby given that the Brunswick County Planning Board will hold a public hearing on October 10, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Chambers of the David R. Sandifer Administration Building located at 30 Government Center Drive at the Brunswick County Government Center concerning the following rezoning:

 

REQUEST:             CHANGE OF ZONING – ZONING CASE Z-855

 

FROM:                    R-7500 (MEDIUM DENSITY RESIDENTIAL)

 

TO:                         C-LD (COMMERCIAL LOW DENSITY)

 

LOCATION:            61, 65, 66, 73, 76 WALNUT TREE COURT SW NEAR SUPPLY, NC.

 

TAX PARCEL(S):   168IA008, 168IA009, 168IA010, 168IA011, 168IA013, AND 168IA014

 

DESCRIPTION:      THE APPLICANT REQUESTED TAX PARCELS 168IA008, 168IA009, 168IA010, 168IA011, 168IA013, AND 168IA014 TO BE REZONED C-LD (COMMERCIAL LOW DENSITY).  THE ENTIRE REZONING AREA ENCOMPASSES APPROX. 1.97 ACRES.

 

 

PROPOSED LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENT (LUM-855) FOR REZONING CASE Z-855:

Request to amend the Official Brunswick County CAMA Land Use Plan Map from LDR (Low Density Residential) to Mixed Use for Tax Parcels 168IA008, 168IA009, 168IA010, 168IA011, 168IA013, and 168IA014 located at 61, 65, 66, 73, and 76 Walnut Tree Court SW near Supply, NC.  This Land Use Plan Amendment totals approximately 1.97 acres.
