Notice is hereby given that the Brunswick County Planning Board will hold a public hearing on September 9, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Chambers of the David R. Sandifer Administration Building located at 30 Government Center Drive at the Brunswick County Government Center concerning the following rezoning:

 

REQUEST:             CHANGE OF ZONING – ZONING CASE Z-783

 

FROM:                    RR (RURAL LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL)

 

TO:                         C-LD (COMMERCIAL LOW DENSITY)

 

LOCATION:            LOCATED OFF WILBUR MCKEITHAN WAY NE (SR 1758) AND MACO ROAD NE (NC HWY 87) NEAR LELAND, NC.

 

TAX PARCEL(S):   05700065, 05700067 AND 0460001007

 

DESCRIPTION:      THE APPLICANT REQUESTED TAX PARCELS 05700065, 05700067 AND 0460001007 TO BE REZONED TO C-LD.  THE ENTIRE REZONING AREA ENCOMPASSES APPROX. 85.18 ACRES.

 

PROPOSED LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENT (LUM-783) FOR REZONING CASE Z-783:

Request to amend the Official Brunswick County CAMA Land Use Plan Map from LDR (Low Density Residential) to Commercial for Tax Parcel 05700065, 05700067 AND 0460001007 located off Wilbur McKeithan Way NE (Sr 1758) and Maco Road NE (NC Hwy 87).   This Land Use Plan Amendment totals approximately 85.18 acres.
