Notice is hereby given that the Brunswick County Planning Board will hold a Public Hearing on August 10, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in the Commissioners Chambers of the David R. Sandifer Administration Building located at 30 Government Center Drive at the Brunswick County Government Center concerning the following rezoning:

 

REQUEST:             CHANGE OF ZONING – ZONING CASE Z-793

 

FROM:                    C-LD (COMMERCIAL LOW DENSITY)

 

TO:                         I-G (INDUSTRIAL GENERAL)

 

LOCATION:            8470 RIVER ROAD SE NEAR SOUTHPORT, NC.

 

TAX PARCEL(S):   22100011

 

DESCRIPTION:      THE APPLICANT REQUESTED TAX PARCEL 22100011 TO BE REZONED I-G (INDUSTRIAL GENERAL).  THE ENTIRE REZONING AREA ENCOMPASSES APPROX. 8.20 ACRES.

 

PROPOSED LAND USE PLAN AMENDMENT (LUM-793) FOR REZONING CASE Z-793:

Request to amend the Official Brunswick County CAMA Land Use Plan Map from HDR (High Density Residential) to Industrial for Tax Parcel 22100011 located at 8470 River Road SE.   This Land Use Plan Amendment totals approximately 8.20 acres.
