2025 Public Shred Event

The next Public Shred Event at the Brunswick County Government Center will take place from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. (or until truck is full) on Saturday, March 1, 2025.

Brunswick County property owners and residents can dispose of any unneeded documents free of charge during the Public Shred Event.


Individuals can dispose of up to five boxes or bags of documents per resident/property owner. Items must be boxed or bagged and ready to be shredded before arrival. Brunswick County staff will be on-site to empty items into the shredder. All boxes and bags will be returned after they are emptied.


Participants must show proof of Brunswick County property ownership or residency.
