Brunswick County Laboratory Services
Who the Program Serves
Laboratory Services are available to people of all ages who are a patient of Brunswick County Health Services or a patient of a private doctor. Note: Some tests or services may require a doctor’s referral, but lead screening, cholesterol screening, and pregnancy testing do not require a referral. Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) testing must go through the STD clinic.
Services Program
Full laboratory services are available. All findings are referred to the ordering physician, whether a Health Services provider or private doctor.
Notice:
Beginning September 1, 2016, Brunswick County Health Services will only provide sliding fee scale (based on income) lab services to patients who have been seen in our clinics and have labs ordered by our staff providers. We will not be able to offer LabCorp contracted rates or sliding fee scale rates for lab orders written by non-staff providers.
If patients would like to continue to come to Brunswick County Health Services for lab services, there will be a flat rate of $13.00 for phlebotomy services due at time of services. Patients will then be directly billed by LabCorp at their standard rates for the ordered labs.
