April 3 Update

  • Brunswick County Public Health is reporting the first novel coronavirus (COVID-19) associated death in Brunswick County today. Full details >>
  • As of April 3, there are 24 positive cases of COVID-119, 182 pending test results and 523 confirmed negative test results, totaling 729 tests administered so far. There is one death associated to COVID-19 in the county.

Brunswick County Immunizations

Immunizations (vaccines) are available to children and adults.  For more information, please view the Immunization Clinic brochure.



Childhood Vaccines

  • Tetanus/Diphtheria (“Lockjaw”)/Pertussis (“Whooping Cough”) [Tdap]
  • Haemophilus Influenzae type B (major cause of Meningitis) [Hib]
  • Polio [IPV]
  • Hepatitis A [HepA]
  • Hepatitis B [HepB]
  • Measles/Mumps/Rubella [MMR]
  • Varicella (“Chicken Pox”)
  • Pneumococcal [PCV]
  • Flu


Recommended Immunizations: Children from Birth Through 6 Years Old

Adult Vaccines

Adult Vaccines Provided
  • Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis [Tdap]
  • Hepatitis A [HepA]

  • Shingles: The shingles vaccine is currently unavailable.  You must be age 50 or older to receive this vaccine; and be screened for additional eligibility.  Shingrix is recommended even if you have already received the previous Zostavax immunization.  For more information, please call the Shingles Hotline at (910) 253-2293.
  • Meningococcal
  • Measles/Mumps/Rubella [MMR]

  • Head lice screening and treatment for head lice
  • Titers for vaccines
  • Bloodwork for college entry
  • PPDs, or Tuberculosis skin tests (not available on Thursdays)
