Brunswick County is soliciting bids to enclose two (2) or three (3) bays to include roll up and entry/exit doors at its Instrumentation and Electrical (“I&E”) groups outside storage and work area at the Brunswick County Public Utilities Operations Center located at 250 Grey Water Road NE, Supply, NC 28462. A more detailed Scope of Work is provided in the Notice to Bidders. Brunswick County may negotiate and refine a final Scope of Work with the selected bidder. Any changes to the Scope of Work will be made in the form of an addendum hereto that will be supplied to all known interested bidders and posted on the County’s website. This project shall be completed within 120 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.
Bids may be received by email, mail, or hand delivery. All bids must be received by 4:00 p.m. ET on September 16, 2021 (DATE HAS CHANGED TO October 28, 2021). Bids must be clearly marked: “Instrumentation and Electrical Bay Enclosures.” Brunswick County will not be responsible for the failure of any mail or delivery service to deliver a bid prior to the stated date and time. Regardless of the manner of submission, any bid received after the stated date and time or bids not submitted to the correct location or in the designated manner will not be considered. Incomplete bids or bids inconsistent with the required format may be disqualified from consideration.

All questions or comments shall be submitted in writing to Paul Biagiotti at firstname.lastname@example.org by 4:00 p.m. ET on September 9, 2021 (DATE HAS CHANGED TO October 20, 2021). A copy of all questions, further clarifications, and answers will be made in the form of an addendum and will be provided to all known interested bidders and posted on the County’s website. Bidders are responsible for ensuring they have all addenda.
Bidders and subcontractors are hereby notified that they must have proper license(s) under the State of North Carolina laws governing their respective trades. Proof of licensure will be required. Brunswick County reserves the right to accept or reject any proposed subcontractor in its sole and absolute discretion.
No bid bond, performance or payment bonds are required.
Brunswick County reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities or technical defects. Brunswick County further reserves the rights to amend the Scope of Work and request new bids at any time prior to the award of a contract. All decisions of Brunswick County shall be final and binding.
