Author Barbara Wright to visit Southwest Brunswick Branch Library Nov. 4
Brunswick County Library will host their next Author Talk event for Brunswick County residents and visitors at Southwest Brunswick Branch Library on Friday, Nov. 4 at 4:00 p.m. All are invited to join author Barbara Wright as she discusses her latest novel, Crow, a fictionalized account of the 1898 massacre in Wilmington.
Brunswick County Library hosts new read to a dog program, Books for Bailey
Brunswick County Library has started Books for Bailey, a new program that aims to improve the confidence and literacy skills of children by reading to a therapy dog named Bailey. Brunswick County Library strives to provide a safe and comfortable space for children of all ages and offers the Books for Bailey events free of charge to Brunswick County residents. Children also receive a sticker showing that they have read to Bailey after the event.
