Library Services
Renew a Book by Phone or Online
All items available available for checkout can be renewed ONCE. To renew by phone, call any of the five library branches. To log in to your account and renew online, click here. Your login is the barcode number (no spaces) on the back of your library card, and your PIN is by default the last four digits of your phone number.
Library Computer Access
All five branches offer computer access with internet, word processing, and educational programs for children. You do not have to have a library card to use a computer.
Internet access is free to adults. Parental permission is required for children. The user is responsible for the cost of any printed pages; black and white printouts are $0.10 per page, color prints (where available) are $0.30 per page.
Computers are shut down 30 minutes before closing each day.
You can find help with basic computer literacy, writing a resume or cover letter, reading skills, and more at the GCF Learnfree website, an entirely free, unaffiliated resource for self-education. This website can be accessed at home or on the computers available for use at Brunswick County libraries.
