NCDHHS to host upcoming PFOS Fish Advisory Meetings

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) is hosting an in-person community meeting on Tuesday, August 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Navassa Community Center to discuss new freshwater fish advisories for the Middle and Lower Cape Fear River. An overview presentation will be provided from 6 to 6:30 p.m., followed by an open floor for questions.

A virtual community meeting will be held on Thursday, August 24 at 6 p.m. Prior registration is required to attend the virtual meeting. Community members can register for the virtual meeting at https://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/3096845301251399254.
