BOLIVIA, N.C. – North Carolina State Treasurer Dale R. Folwell, CPA, visited the Brunswick County Government Complex in Bolivia Friday, Dec. 18 to present the County with a check for unclaimed funds for the South Brunswick Water and Sewer Authority, which the County acquired in 2004.
The North Carolina Department of State Treasurer presented the unclaimed $2,752.42 in funds from the N.C. Department of Revenue payable to the former authority after they were discovered during a review. The County will deposit the funds into its dedicated sewer fund.
