Under and by virtue of an Order of the District Court of Brunswick County, North Carolina, made and entered in the action entitled “County of Brunswick vs. James Ronald Cox, et al,” the undersigned commissioner will on the 23rd day of April, 2021, offer for sale and sell for cash, to the last and highest bidder at public auction, at the courthouse door in Brunswick County, North Carolina, in Bolivia at 12:00 noon the following described real property, lying and being in the State and County aforesaid, and more particularly described as follows:

PARCEL # 1360001201:

BEING all of that certain 1.11-acre parcel of property according to a survey prepared by William B. Hill, Jr., dated 2 April 1981 and being duly recorded in Map Cabinet M, Page 63 of the Brunswick County Registry.

For back reference, see Deed Book 442, Page 470 of the Brunswick County Registry.

PARCEL # 13800012:

BEGINNING at an iron pipe in the Western line of County Road No. 1509 (60.0 feet in width and a/k/a Randolph Rd.) that is North 28 degrees 43 minutes West 100 feet from an iron pipe where said line of said road is intersected by the Southern line of the tract conveyed to Herbert Bryant by deed recorded in Book 130 page 204 of the Brunswick County Registry, this pipe being South 64 degrees 00 minutes West from a point in the center of said road that is North 28 degrees 43 minutes West 335.98 feet from a point where the center of said road is intersected by the center of an 18 inch culvert under said road, said culvert begin about 1.8 miles Northwardly as measured along said road from its intersection with U.S. Highway No. 17; running thence from said Beginning point South 64 degrees 00 minutes West and parallel with Bryant’s Southern line 100.00 feet to an iron pipe; thence North 28 degrees 43 minutes West 75.0 feet to an iron pipe; thence North 64 degrees 00 minutes East 100.0 feet to an iron pipe in the Western line of said road; thence South 28 degrees 43 minutes East with said line of said road 75.0 feet to the point of beginning; the same containing 0.17 acre and being a portion of the aforementioned Herbert Bryant tract.

The sale will be made subject to all outstanding city and county taxes and all local improvement assessments against the above-described property not included in the judgment in the above-entitled cause. A deposit of 5 percent of the successful bid will be required.
