Key Points

  • As of April 2, there are 23 positive cases of COVID-19, 225 pending test results and 457 confirmed negative test results, totaling 705 tests administered so far.
  • Governor Cooper’s Executive Order No. 121 is now in effect: Stay at home unless you are visiting an essential service or operation (like visiting the grocery store, pharmacy, medical office, or work), exercising outdoors or helping a family member. The order bans gatherings of more than 10 people and directs everyone to physically stay at least six feet apart from others.
  • The CDC urges residents of New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut to refrain from non-essential domestic travel for 14 days effective immediately. Travelers returning after domestic travel from areas with widespread community transmission, cruise ships, riverboats, or by air travel should also self-quarantine at home for 14 days after returning.
  • Brunswick County requires individuals to contact county departments via phone or email first and to schedule appointments for in-person visits if necessary
  • The CDC now recommends people with mild COVID-19 symptoms stay home and call their doctor for medical advice.

Under and by virtue of an Order of the District Court of Brunswick County, North Carolina, made and entered in the action entitled “County of Brunswick vs. Taylor & Coffey, LLC,” the undersigned commissioner will on the 21st day of February, 2020, offer for sale and sell for cash, to the last and highest bidder at public auction, at the courthouse door in Brunswick County, North Carolina, in Bolivia at 12:00 noon the following described real property, lying and being in the State and County aforesaid, and more particularly described as follows:

PARCEL # 1820000404:

BEING all of that certain tract or parcel of land designated as Tract A, as more particularly described on the survey entitled “Taylor & Coffey of TRACTS A, B, & C,” dated July 10, 2006 and revised December 20, 2007 by James R. Tompkins, P.L.S., which is duly recorded in Map Cabinet 47 at Page 92, of the Brunswick County Registry.

The sale will be made subject to all outstanding city and county taxes and all local improvement assessments against the above-described property not included in the judgment in the above-entitled cause. A deposit of 5 percent of the successful bid will be required.
