Under and by virtue of an Order of the District Court of Brunswick County, North Carolina, made and entered in the action entitled “County of Brunswick vs. Carlos Gerrard Hewett and Michelle Hewett,” the undersigned commissioner will on the 20th day of November, 2020, offer for sale and sell for cash, to the last and highest bidder at public auction, at the courthouse door in Brunswick County, North Carolina, in Bolivia at 12:00 noon the following described real property, lying and being in the State and County aforesaid, and more particularly described as follows:

PARCEL # 1990013002:

Beginning at a new iron pipe where the northern right-of-way line of the old neighborhood road abutting Joseph M. Hewett’s land intersects the eastern right of way line of an old neighborhood road, abutting Myra D. Hewett Garrison’s land as recorded in Book 240 at Page 563, said beginning point also located approximately south 11 degrees 39 minutes east 539.86 feet along the eastern right-of-way line of an old neighborhood road from Mildred Cox’s southwest corner; from said beginning point runs thence north 11 degrees 39 minutes West 244.6 feet to a new iron pipe in the eastern right-of-way of the old neighborhood road, runs thence north 79 degrees 11 minutes 20 seconds east 412.06 feet to a new iron pipe; runs then south 18 degrees 29 minutes 08 seconds east 246.77 feet to a new iron pipe in the northern right-of-way line of the old neighborhood road; thence the northern right-of-way line of the old neighborhood road south 79 degrees 11 minutes 20 seconds west 441.44 feet to the point of the beginning, containing 2.39 acres more or less and being part of the property owned by the heirs of J. W. Hewett as recorded in Book 9 at Page of the Brunswick County Registry.

The sale will be made subject to all outstanding city and county taxes and all local improvement assessments against the above-described property not included in the judgment in the above-entitled cause. A deposit of 5 percent of the successful bid will be required.
